Skate for Change - Skate, Create & Educate is a weekend pop-up family friendly workshop that is held in celebration of Juneteenth, Go Skate Day and Indigenous Peoples Day. The weekend we partnered with Parks Board Vancouver in this BIPOC prioritized event hosted by Nations Skate Youth, Takeover Skateboarding and I Dream Library, Vancouver. The workshops will include community quilting, art, storytelling, giveaways and the Green Ramp. The location of the workshop will be held at Trout Lake in John Hendry Park at 19th & Lakewood in Vancouver BC.
